Annamaria Belloni was born in Genoa, but lives and works in Piacenza (Italy), where she manages a photostudio. She studied some years in Germany where she worked as a translator. Since 1998 she has been working as a photographer. Beside her commercial works, she is also interested in portraits and contemporary human conditions, and works with 6×6 cameras and film.
She is also an art director of the Fotosintesi International photofestival in Piacenza (www.fotosintesipiacenza.it) and is a member of the collective „Thema“ (www.thema-photographers.it).
